You can also donate on line here – https://hotshots19.crossfit.com/ – if you can’t make it to Saturday’s workout.
If you’re a regular Saturday gym goer, either making up a WOD or doing strength work, be aware that this Saturday will be a little bit different. We’ll be doing the “Hotshots” Wod and looking for donations to help the families of the fallen fire fighters.
Nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighting team tragically lost their lives on June 30, 2013 while fighting a fire in Yarnell, AZ. Here is where you can make a donation to support the families of the lost heroes. Your support will be collected by the CrossFit Kids Foundation where 100% of the donations will be distributed to the families.
Here’s the modified schedule for Labor Day weekend:
.Back to regular 7AM to 7:30 PM class schedule to Tuesday
Have a Great Weekend and remember to:
The weather is changing and the television is advertising back to school sales. You know what that means – the beta test for CrossFit Kids is coming to a close!
It has been a great summer, and the kids have been doing amazing things. There are three classes left to try before the school year starts and the schedule changes.
are the last three free classes (there will be no classes Saturday August 24th and Saturday August 31st). The class times are 1:00-1:30 pm for 3-5 year olds (preschoolers), and 1:45-2:30 pm for 5-12 year olds (school age). A CFE waiver needs to be signed for each child, and parent packets can be found in the documents section of the CFE website. Come and check out what it’s all about!
So what’s next? Information will be forthcoming over the next couple weeks.
Please feel free to let Robyn know what times would work best for you, as we are looking to change schedules to accommodate for school for older children.
